An expansive vocal range coupled with clear, powerful projection is coveted by every vocalist seeking to learn how to improve singing. Some say that these things cannot be learned but are rather the result of “natural” talent. However, the video below features a woman who desires to do acquire those very skills. She has already mastered pitch and vocal control but needs to develop her projection in the high range of her voice.

As you watch this video, notice how the instructor draws attention to the importance of breath and controlling that breath when you are singing difficult notes. Also consider the repetitive nature of these exercises. Practice is essential to obtaining proficiency in any skill and the same is true of improving vocal range and projection. While there may seem to be an over-emphasis on certain skills, they are important to developing muscle memory so that they may be duplicated seamlessly during actual performances.

One important tip that the instructor makes during this video is that the amount of breath used for projection is not important. That is to say, DO NOT YELL. Yelling is by far the worst method by which to gain projection and can actually do more damage to your vocal chords than good.

If you are skeptical that these exercises can help you learn how to improve singing and projection, without yelling, than you are not alone. Many singers experience frustration when first learning to master these exercises. However, practice is the key to success and going through these exercises will help your muscles recognize that “compressed” breathing feeling until it becomes your natural method of singing.

Even the most extensively trained vocalists still have complications with their projection and range and seek out training to help them improve. Celebrities such as Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus have experienced such issues with their voice and get their training from Brett Manning, the creator of the company who published the video above.

You would never imagine that Hayley Williams, powerhouse lead singer of Paramore would ever have problems with her projection. But even Hayley admits to needing vocal training and says that she won’t use any other training than Brett Manning’s Singing Success. She said she would fly Brett to her home before she went to anyone else.

You can get access to Singing Success here and receive the same training that Hayley Williams, Taylor Swift, and Miley Cyrus all use to improve their voices and make them better singers.

Click HERE to learn the same vocal techniques that Taylor Swift uses to learn how to improve singing!.

Brett’s program, Singing Success, contains some of the most effectual vocal improvement methods in 17 exclusive vocal lessons. He includes a workbook and DVD to greater enable you to grasp and understand these coveted voice concepts and help you learn how to improve singing. These are the same lessons that Brett uses to train his celebrity clientele like Miley Cyrus.

Hayley Williams, lead singer of Grammy-Nominated rock band Paramore, raves about Brett’s program saying, “It’s been about 5 years since I started taking lessons from Brett and I won’t go to anyone else!” She has so much confidence in Brett’s expertise and the effectiveness of his teaching methods that she says when she on the road she would rather fly him in than work with anyone else.

People from all walks of life are using Singing Success to learn how to improve singing, and are crediting all their success to Brett’s program giving rave reviews like such reviews on Amazon.com as: “As a touring, professional singer, I never leave home without my Singing Success CDs!
Get Singing Success here and receive the same training that allowed Eddie Gilbert to experience dramatic results!.

Brett Manning’s Singing Success is the most reliable and effective vocal training program on the market and he is so confident in his teaching methods that he attaches a six-month money back guarantee to his product.

Through the Singing Success program, Brett guarantees that you will increase your vocal range by one FULL octave. He gives you six months to do what he has helped people do in ONE HOUR! And if after the 24 weeks you don’t see drastic improvements to your vocal range, then you are reimbursed the FULL amount, no questions asked

The benefits of Brett Manning’s program do not end with his built in guarantees. Brett realizes that everyone learns at a unique pace and he incorporated that knowledge into the development of Singing Success.

Singing Success gives you the freedom to repeat lessons as often as are necessary. You never have to worry about your lesson time running out before you advance to new understanding and ability; instead, you just hit rewind or replay. Not only do you gain worry-free learning, you gain all the time and energy spent adding another obligation into an already packed schedule and you can learn these acclaimed vocal lessons in the comfort of your home.

Learn How to Improve Singing with Brett Manning’s Singing Success here!.

Brett Manning has spent the past 10 years perfecting Singing Success; he has put together his most effective and valuable training techniques so that you can learn how to improve singing with the same training as his celebrity clientele. He has packaged together all his singing secrets and truthfully, it’s a steal.

In college I attended the #1 opera school in the world. Grad students on campus taught voice lessons that would cost a minimum of $25 per hour. That means in order to get the same number of lessons from an inexperienced grad student you would pay over twice the amount that Brett asks for his acclaimed vocal program, and Brett has ten times more experience! Not only that, but Brett himself charges $125 per hour for private lessons in Nashville, TN. That means you get the same world-renown voice teacher, the same praised vocal training methods, and you pay less than 10 times what you would pay in Nashville.

Brett Manning has created the most effective vocal training program available on the market. If you are looking to learn how to improve singing so that you can increase your vocal range, sing with power and clarity, and stun an audience, then I greatly recommend looking into Brett Manning’s Singing Success.

Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Hayley Williams from Paramore might like you to think that they were born with perfect voices, but that would be a lie, because they all learned how to improve singing.

Believe it or not, each of these famous singers took voice lessons to improve projection, increase vocal range, and to polish out rough spots in their voices. It is true that even the best singers in the world need help to polish their skills.

If even the best need voice lessons, what hope is there for the “rest of us?”

Actually, the fact that even celebrities need singing instruction is GOOD news for us, because it proves that singing is learned, not natural.

If you have trouble hitting high notes, or if your range isn’t what you’d like, or if you strain when you sing, or if your overall pitch isn’t as “pretty” as you’d like it to be… all of that can be FIXED!

Hayley Williams from the band Paramore is widely known for having a nearly flawless voice when she sings live in concert. She has achieved worldwide fame because of her brilliant voice. However, it was not always that way.

Hayley admits that she used to strain when she sung, and that she would be very tired after doing live concerts. This was a serious problem until she met Brett Manning, a world-class voice instructor. Watch as Hayley says talks about her experience working with Brett:

Click here to get the same training that Brett gives to Hayley without paying the price for live, in-person instruction.

The fact that celebrities struggle with certain areas of singing can be a relief to the rest of us, because it means that our own trouble spots can easily be fixed.

While you may not be able to afford to fly Brett Manning to your concert to help you to warm up before a performance, he sells DVDs of the same type of training that he would give to Taylor Swift or Hayley Williams, and you can train your voice in the comfort of your own home without having to hire a vocal coach.

Even if you don’t have a naturally pretty voice, you can learn how to improve singing by making small changes that will make vast differences in the way that you sound.

Eddie Gilbert was one of those people who did not have a pretty voice… really, really did not have a pretty voice, but he was determined to be a singer. We all know that person who thinks that they want to be a singer, but cannot hold a tune, and Eddie was that guy. After going through Bretty Manning’s DVD course, his pitch and range vastly improved, and he was able to pursue the career that he wanted, and he no longer felt embarrassed to sing in front of others.

Listen to his before and after below:

Click here to get the program that Eddie used.

Contrary to the myth that vocal lessons will disguise or alter the style of your voice, Singing Success will work with your voice to improve it based on the style that you want to emulate.

For example, many people think that voice lessons will ruin a “rockstar” voice by giving it a classical feel that spoils that rock style, but that is not the case. If you learn how to improve singing correctly, it will be according to your own style rather than according to an industry standard.

If you’re singing rock style, then you can still improve your voice pitch and range with the same techniques. And because rock music has such a strain on the voice, getting professional lessons is even more important.

Even Michael Barnes from the band RED admits that he had a hard time singing in concerts and would feel very unprepared for his performances before working with Brett Manning and his DVD course. He learned how to improve singing and did not rely on his vocal problems to simply disappear.

Listen as Michael shares how the rock style was straining his voice, and how he developed the confidence to sing better:

Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and many other famous singers also credit Brett Manning with much of their success and vocal improvement. This goes to show that you CAN improve your singing voice, and only a smart part of your voice comes natural with your body. The rest is learned and practiced.

Voice lessons are a great place to start, but they are expensive and inconvenient. While you may not be able to afford private lessons with Brett Manning himself, his Singing Success program is the same type of training that Taylor, Keith, Hayley and Michael all swear by:

I had a roommate in college who said to me, “It’s not that I’m a bad singer – I just don’t have a very pretty voice.” With pop idols getting younger and younger, and “natural” phenoms in the media, it’s easy for even experienced singers to believe that improving your singing voice is simply a matter of natural talent or “having a pretty voice,” but nothing could be further from the truth.

Make no mistake: you can absolutely learn how to improve singing. While the natural tone of your voice plays a role, it is a very small one, because elements such as projection, breath maximization, and range can all be improved upon with practice, vocal exercises, or even the shape of your mouth.

You’d be surprised at the drastic difference in your range after you are properly warmed up by a good singing coach. Even Taylor Swift brags about how she feels as though everything is easier after she is warmed up by her singing coach (source).

If even the most recognized singers in the world seek practice and help, and if they continue to learn how to improve singing, then perhaps even my roommate in college could have overcome the fact the she “didn’t have a pretty voice.”

The truth, however, is that most of the pop artists have technology that makes them sound better, even in a live setting. And the untalented (in my opinion) and talented alike singing sensations have access to the best coaches and resources to actually help them to develop a better singing voice and to maintain it.

Most of the elements of a polished singing voice are learned. If singing was a natural ability, there would be no vocal coaches, and certainly no universities teaching voice as a field of study. To succeed, you not only CAN learn to sing better, you MUST do so.

You can learn to improve singing by getting properly warmed up every time that you singing, by using proven vocal exercises that stretch the vocal chords and improve your range, working with a vocal coach who will give you a third party opinion and work with you to develop your specific needs (or a home study course, which can be a more affordable and more convenient option), and by practicing different vocal chord stretches and air flow manipulation.

All voices are different, and each singer has his or her own singing style, but every singer can also learn to become a better singer. There is no “one-size-fits-all” singing voice, and there is no stamp of approval that defines a “pretty voice,” but there are ways to improve your projection, pitch, range, and control. When you do those, you will improve your singing voice, even if you don’t have a naturally “pretty” voice.

Have you ever had a friend that thought he or she was a really good singer, when in reality, their voice made you cringe? As it turns out, your friend may not be totally crazy…

When you sing or speak, you hear your voice through your bones and muscles, and that gives you a slightly distorted perception of your voice. This is partly why you may think that your voice sounds different when recorded.

For that reason, your singing voice may sound slightly different to yourself than it does to other people. Many singers discover after listening to a recording that they need to learn how to improve singing.

Therefore, using a recording device can help singers to identify where they need extra practice. Attempts to sing high notes bring the greatest amount of distortion, and recordings will catch flaws where your distorted view of your own singing voice will not.

Upon hearing what one’s singing voice sounds like on a recording, it can prompt the need to seek how to improve singing.

One of the best ways to improve your singing voice is to work with a vocal coach. Not only can they help you to develop proper breathing habits, improve your diction, and even develop vibrato, but coaches can also provide the third party perspective that many singers desperately need. Coaches also can identify particular points of vocal stress, even when you do not feel like you are straining to hit certain notes.

Even Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, and other recording artists continue to seek vocal lessons on a regular basis. Below, you’ll hear Taylor Swift talking with her personal instructor, Brett Manning, about using vocal singing exercises to warm up, and she credits him with much of her singing ability:

While you may not be able to afford personal lessons with Taylor Swift’s personal coach (Brett Manning), he does have a home study course called Singing Success that will show you how to improve singing without having to hire a personal instructor.

The only downside to vocal lessons is that they can be repetitive and expensive after some time, so it’s not necessary to take lessons for a long period of time after the initial phase of correcting vocal errors, improving projection, and developing proper habits. A home study course that you can complete on time and refer to when necessary may be a good alternative.

Proper breathing plays the most key role in improving your singing voice, and maintaining proper support with the breath will help to increase your vocal range. Insufficient breath is the most common mistake made by singers learning how to improve singing, but it is also the easiest to correct. Maintaining sufficient breath is an important first step in learning how to sing properly.

You’ve probably noticed the importance of proper breathing when you attempt to sustain long notes or strain to hit pitches that are near the edge of your range. When you optimize your breath intake, you will have an easier time holding and hitting difficult notes, thus improving your singing voice.

The optimal breathing pattern comes in the form of “diaphragmatic breathing,” which is when the lowest part of the lungs take in the breath, rather than the lungs. When singing, your abdomen should expand rather than your chest. If your chest is expanding when you are taking deep breaths while singing, then you are not using optimal breath, and this will limit your projection and muffle your tone.

To practice diaphragmatic breathing, lie on your back, put your hands at your side, and breathe deeply. When you are taking in full breaths, your diaphragm will cause your abdomen to expand, and your lungs should stay flat. You may notice that you can “force” air into either your lungs or you abdomen, even when one feels as though it has reached full capacity.

While practicing or performing, you can improve your breathing by standing flat-footed while keeping your arms at your sides and your palms facing forward. Arch your back and allow your shoulders to move back. This position will allow for maximum breathing, and help you to move more air, improving your range, projection, and clarity.

Breath is your support as you sing, especially for sustaining notes and hitting pitches that challenge your range. When you maximize your breath intake, your singing voice will improve, because you will be able to project louder while improving vocal range.

If you take voice lessons from a singing coach to learn how to improve singing, your first few lessons will likely focus on correcting your breathing. Without proper breathing, your vocal range and clarity will never reach its full potential. When you correct your posture and breathe with your diaphragm, you take the first and most significant step to improve your singing voice.
